Interests: God is my First and biggest interest... everything else comes next. To follow after that has to be music and drama. Singing is not my interest it is basically my life... or at least i would love it to be. Drama is a close second and it is amazing when it combines with the music! Children.... what can I say? I Looooove kids. I love being with the simple minds and hearing the wisdom that they have to share :). Other than those top three I also like reading, Drawing, Writing, Volleyball, Tennis, and Making Jewelry. :)

| Do you ever feel alone even when you have no reason to? Like when you have a conversation with someone that they feel was really deep but you don't even think it scratches the surface, or when you are in a room of people you know and still feel by yourself somehow. Lately I think that has been my biggest struggle in myself. I say in myself because this is not a problem of those around me, it is a problem of my own making. There are circumstances that aid it that are not completely in my control, but there are also some things that I can do that I just haven't found the courage to do yet. Letting people see you for you is a scary thing, and I have learned that putting on a face for people and trying to be what they want or need you to be simply for their benefit doesn't end well either. So the real option here is to put yourself out there and hope that the people you are doing it with are those who will include you and become friends that do get to know you and help you have those deep conversations that help both people to grow.
I have learned so much in the last 4 years. I have learned about myself and even the people who are around me. I have learned it is worth trusting people in order to find people that trust you back. Relationships of any kind are built a lot on trust in each other. Trust that the person they are showing you is the true person they are. This is something I am still learning. Something I am learning every day to choose to just be me. To remember that God made me who I am and though that is not always enough for some... it is always enough for Him and that is all that matters. God made us for fellowship, and I have heard arguments that say we should be ok just with God and no human friends and such, but I don't buy that at all. When Adam was in the garden he had God in a way we don't even have the ability to comprehend, but it was not good and complete without fellowship of the human kind as well. I have learned leaning on people is how you help each other to grow, and growing together is how people build strong relationships that last.

| Hi all
So it has been the longest time I have been gone from xanga the last almost 6 months. I wasn't sure I had much to say for a while then I really didn't know what to say and eventually I had so much to say that I couldn't find a way to get it all in a post.
So here is life now compared to how I left you.... I am a full time nanny for the little baby I told you about just before I stopped posting. Her name is Nora and I LOVE MY JOB! I also still work at BB&B part time on the weekends just because I like the job and there is not a good reason not to work there. In other news, I am no longer engaged or in a relationship. That change happened a month and a half ago. Also, my little sister just graduated High School, I am so proud. My family is looking for a new home again.
In the last few months God and I have been really working through some things. There is a lot that I am not gonna share here but just take my word for it that there have been hard times and there have been harder times, but all that brought me out to here.... which, though still at times feels hard, is a much better place for me than where I was. So many ways that my life has changed just from within me and how I am learning more about the person God made me.
Well that is all I am going to write for now, but I may be back soon to write again now that I have broken the ice of that almost 6 months being gone.

| So it has been a really long time since I posted on here.... I have started different times but never had the time and focus to finish one til now.
This weekend Mike and I are going to OHIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am soooooooooooooooooo excited!!!! I miss people so much. The other day I got a voicmail back from one of my friends, Anna, and I hadn't heard her voice in like 6-7 months! I was SO happy I was giggly and it just made my night. I can't wait to have the joy of seeing them all!
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week I get to go to K-zoo and have some fun take care of the kids I used to nanny. I am really excited. They are both really sick and their parents have been taking off work for over a week now to take care of them but the kids aren't that much better and they need someone to help out so it is me to the rescue..... or something  hahaha.... I am really excited though. I haven't seen these two since May when I stopped taking care of them and moved out. I have missed them. I am also looking into a new potential job that would be full time with a really little baby with special needs.... that just came up tonight so it is just a possibility. It would happen in 3 months so I would still be at BB&B for now, which is fine because I like it there, but this opportunity is totally me and I would be really excited if I could get to help this little baby grow up and get to watch that.
In other news..... my little sister got a call from a college coach to have her go on a day game trip to Moody with the team. It sounds really fun and i am super excited for her. I am starting to realize that there may be a really challenging decision for her coming soon. If multiple collages offer her a chance to play sports for her..... or even if just one does but gives her the choice of soccer or basketball. It is gonna be something really challenging. I am gonna start praying for her tonight from now on about that.

So since I haven't told this story really in print yet.... here is the happy story of the week in my life. On Monday night Mike came over to my house and we were gonna go see the festival of lights show downtown. My lil brother and sister came with us and we had much fun. As we were finishing and about to leave I turned around and Mike got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!!!!!! I of course said YES!!!!!!!! :) according to first hand accounts I proceeded to turn in circles and smile muchly :) then we went to Applebees to meet with my parents and tell them the happy news!

| So this is a story my Grandma and Grandpa Cary brought with them for thanksgiving this year! I and many members of my family found it hilarious so I thought I would share it :) enjoy!
- December 8: 6:00 PM.
It started to snow. The first snow of the season and the wife and I took our hot cocoa and sat for hours by the window watching the huge soft flakes drift down from heaven. It looked like a Grandma Moses Print. So romantic we felt like newlyweds again. I love snow! - December 9:
We woke to a beautiful blanket of crystal white snow covering every inch of the landscape. What a fantastic sight! Can there be a more lovely place in the Whole World? Moving here was the best idea I've ever had. Shoveled for the first time in years and felt like a boy again. I did both our driveway and the sidewalks. This afternoon the snowplow came along and covered up the sidewalks and closed in the driveway, so I got to shovel again. What a perfect life. - December 12:
The sun has melted all our lovely snow. Such a disappointment. My neighbor tells me not to worry, we'll definitely have a white Christmas. No snow on Christmas would be awful! Bob says we'll have so much snow by the end of winter, that I'll never want to see snow again. I don't think that's possible. Bob is such a nice man I'm glad he's our neighbor. - December 14:
Snow lovely snow! 8" last night. The temperature dropped to -20. The cold makes everything sparkle so. The wind took my breath away, but I warmed up by shoveling the driveway and sidewalks. This is the life! The snowplow came back this afternoon and buried everything again. I didn't realize I would have to do quite this much shoveling, but I'll certainly get back in shape this way. I wish I wouldn't huff and puff so. - December 15:
20 inches forecast. Sold my van and bought a 4x4 Blazer. Bought snow tires for the wife's car and 2 extra shovels. Stocked the freezer. The wife wants a wood stove in case the electricity goes out. I think that's silly. We aren't in Alaska, after all. - December 16:
Ice storm this morning. Fell on my butt on the ice in the driveway putting down salt. Hurt like crazy. The wife laughed for an hour, which I think was very cruel. - December 17:
Still way below freezing. Roads are too icy to go anywhere. Electricity was off for 5 hours. I had to pile the blankets on to stay warm. Nothing to do but stare at the wife and try not to irritate her. Guess I should've bought a wood stove, but won't admit it to her. I hate it when she's right. I can't believe I'm freezing to death in my own living room. - December 20:
Electricity's back on, but had another 14" of the stupid stuff last night. More shoveling. Took all day. Stupid snowplow came by twice. Tried to find a neighbor kid to shovel, but they said they're too busy playing hockey. I think they're lying. Called the only hardware store around to see about buying a snow blower and they're out. Might have another shipment in March. I think they're lying. Bob says I have to shovel or the city will have it done and bill me. I think he's lying. - December 22:
Bob was right about a white Christmas because 13 more inches of the white stuff fell today, and it's so cold it probably won't melt till August. Took me 45 minutes to get all dressed up to go out to shovel and then I had to pee. By the time I got undressed, peed and dressed again. I was too tired to shovel. Tried to hire Bob who has a plow on his truck for the rest of the winter; but he says he's too busy. I think the doofus is lying. - December 23:
Only 2" of snow today. And it warmed up to 0o. The wife wanted me to decorate the front of the house this morning. What is she nuts!!! Why didn't she tell me to do that a month ago? She says she did but I think she's lying. - December 24:
6". Snow packed so hard by snowplow, l broke the shovel. Thought I was having a heart attack. If I ever catch the man who drives that snowplow, I'll drag him through the snow on his but. I know he hides around the corner and waits for me to finish shoveling and then he comes down the street at a 100 miles an hour and throws snow all over where I've just been! Tonight the wife wanted me to sing Christmas Carols with her and open our presents, but I was busy watching for the good for nothing snowplow. - December 25:
Merry Christmas. 20 more inches of the slop tonight. Snowed in. The idea of shoveling makes my blood boil. I hate the snow! Then the snowplow driver came by asking for a donation and I hit him over the head with my shovel. The wife says I have a bad attitude. I think she's an idiot. If I have to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" one more time, I'm going to kill her. - December 26:
Still snowed in. Why in the world did I ever move here? It was all HER idea. She's really getting on my nerves. - December 27:
